IFOGRAPHY - 100% MORE WEBSITE-Y

June 24, 2015

You might notice this month that IFography is no longer a beautifully produced PDF file.  We all liked the idea of "here is an (electronically) printed magazine, marvel at the effort involved!"  As it turns out, the PDF skillz were entirely that of Robert Patten, and since he (for whatever reason) likes making good grades in University, he and all of us agreed that IFography would need to be issued every other month instead of monthly.

But life happens, and news happens.  Even the niche market of IF has a finer grained-news cycle than two months (People charge for IF now?  Is that a thing??)  We decided we could keep up with the white hot blast of activity if we converted to a website.  That way, it doesn't rest entirely on the shoulders of Robert to get the issue out.

This means at first you'll be looking at the previous issue of IFography we used to prototype the site.  But slowly and at random surprisng times, we will be updating with new features, reviews, interviews, and information that doesn't have to wait for a two-month publishing window.  We hope you'll get to visit more frequently, and that we can keep up.

So I hope you enjoy this temporarily semi-retro issue of IFography as the updates slowly take over, and you don't mind my guest introduction since Matt Goh and Marshal Winter are both furiously speed-reading Website Design for Dummies and discovering that Internet publishing layout doesn't just merely happen with a disdainful flick of the wrist towards one of your design minions over Google Plus.

We hope you enjoy the new format.  Don't hesitate to let us know what you think over on the Contact tab.  All submissions are welcome.  If you've got an idea for an article or a review, let us know!
