Notable on IFDB

Hana Feels - Another alt-game designed to make you feel stuff...but this one is exceedingly well written, and I was compelled to play three times for an optimal ending. I actually learned stuff from this one, which succeeds primarily on believable dialogue and because you are reacting to the character in trouble instead of inhabiting them.

Tentacles Growing Everywhere - Deirdra Kiai describes as an "incredibly queer mashup of Judy Blume, Babysitters Club, and pulpy sci-fi". I loved Kiai's I'm Really Sorry About That Thing I Said When I Was Tired and/or Hungry that made me feel like a best friend. Tentacles is free to supporters of the author's Patreon, and $2 on itch.io.

Survival Horror - This showed up out of nowhere on IFDB, and is an app on Android and iOS app stores. The author very generously provided some free keys to the interactive fiction forums, and this turns out to be a home-brew choice fiction with the unusual gimmick that no words are highlighted, so it feels a lot less directed than most choice-based offerings. This is a strong offering from a first timer, with atmospheric music and a rudimentary combat system adds some flair to the standard IF olympic compulsory zombie apocalypse theme.
